The problem

A party of handheld remotes and one speaker box should not need a router, a phone, or a Wi-Fi password. The hop has to be board to board, and the sound has to start because a button was pressed.

What I built

The Upwork contract is “Build Wireless ESP32 Game Prototype (LED Button Remotes + Central Sound Unit)”. It finished between 10 Oct 2025 and 25 Nov 2025 with a 5.0 rating, from two reviews.

The firmware is a multiplayer ESP32 game on ESP-NOW, with a DFPlayer for the sound. ESP-NOW is the link because it stays between Espressif modules and does not join an access point. The DFPlayer is on UART, and the clips live on the microSD card in the player.

What the client wrote

What is not public

The repository is private, so there is no code link. I am not stating a remote count or a measured range. Those figures are not in the record I am publishing from.
